First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home

has a long history of ministry to our congregation, our community, and our world.  We are an active congregation, seeking to fulfill our Purpose Statement.  You will be welcome at First Church!  The basics of Methodist beliefs place us in the center of the theological spectrum, and we are proud of the heritage that has made us open to and accepting of folks who come to us from many religious and non-religious backgrounds.  Come and visit with us - we'd love to meet you and we invite you to spend some time with us!

Many people are in distress due to natural and man-made disasters.  The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) offers a way for you help these unfortunate people.  Here is a direct link to the UMCOR website so that you can explore ways in which you might ease the burden of those in need.  We encourage you to support UMCOR.  If you feel moved to do so, please make the church office aware of your giving.
