“STRONG WOMEN” PROGRAM

Encouraged by the Holy Health initiative of the UMC Arkansas Conference, a “Strong Women” exercise group has begun in our church. The participants meet at 9:00 a.m. Monday and Wednesday mornings for an hour of exercise and fellowship.
The program was designed at Tufts University for midlife to older women with the focus on strength training to improve muscle mass, balance, bone density, metabolic rate, and to reduce arthritis symptoms. Women of all ages are encouraged to participate at some level—you are not too young or too old to benefit!
