MUSIC MINISTRY PROGRAM

 

FUMC has a music program to suit all who love music and wish to make  music part of their worship expression and gift of talents.

	In addition to the structured performance-oriented groups listed below, the Music Department also leads special music programs such as annual choral concerts, piano ("eight hands") concerts, a Community Sing of Handel's Messiah (Christmas section) in December, and other events, with love offerings accepted to support local community organizations (Salvation Army, Our Kids, Christmas Wish, etc.).

Chancel Choir	Teens through mature adults
Praise Band	Teens and adults - supports Sixth Street Praise service
Genesis Choir	Kindergarten through second grade
Pre-School Singers	3 &4 year old preschoolers
Disciples Choir	Third through sixth grades
Alleluia Bells	Young adults through middle age (generally)
Joyful Bells	Mixed-generational - tend toward middle age
Serendipity Bells	Mixed-generational - tend toward mature ages
