Ms. Poynter has been our FUMC Church organist since 1952, beginning
at the local Methodist church. She attended Hendrix College.
She started ringing handbells in 1975 and
progressed to directing.
The handbell program has grown to include four bell choirs at present.
Ms. Poynter is the piano accompanist for several groups, soloists, weddings and funerals
