Happy Easter! He is risen indeed!

Rev. Keith Dodson
Many are on spring break this week. I see the pictures of family trips being posted all over social media, and it is wonderful to see folks having fun with their friends and family. We have taken many trips as a family during this week as well, but this year we decided to stay closer to home and plan for a big senior trip in May for Joshua. But when we do go away for spring break, we try to cram as much as we can into that week. There have been many trips where when I return from Spring Break, I feel like I need another “break” to recover! I know many of you can relate. A lot can happen in one week. As we enter into Holy Week we celebrate a week that changed our world forever. This week we begin with a celebration and end with a celebration. From the triumphal entry of Christ on Palm Sunday to the resurrection on Easter. But, in our hurry to go from Sunday to Sunday, we do not need to miss out on the passion of the week. We need to fully immerse ourselves in the powerful moments of faith that include miracles and mayhem. From a Messiah that is loved and revered, to the same individual being condemned by an angry crowd. From palm branches to a rough wooden cross. It is a week of extremes, and we need to allow ourselves to feel and experience every part of it. So let this week be one that moves you closer to God, and deeper reflection on what Christ has done and is doing for us. Blessings, Bro. Keith For more infomation visit:

Youth Ministries605 Student Ministry Hello Church Family,
While preparing to write this update for ministries this month, I realized something. It has been a year since we have shifted our ministries because of the pandemic. It’s been a year of social distancing, quarantining, and mask wearing. But it’s ultimately been a year of growth, changes, and realizations. Even though ministry isn’t exactly how it was before March 2020, I am super excited. Youth is moving in an amazing direction and I am super excited for this summer and the future of all of our ministries. Now for some updates! We are hosting Ozark Mission Project this summer. I am looking for volunteers to make this camp successful! We need drivers to help work all four days or just one with our youth, volunteers who can come make up about 20-30 sandwiches for our campers to take lunches with them, and for people who would be willing to visit the campers on job sites and bring them goodies. There are many ways to help this camp and if you are willing please contact me so that we can have the best week of missions possible for our Youth and our Neighbors. Confirmation begins this month. Please be in prayer for our Confirmands and our adults as we undergo another amazing journey of faith for our 8th graders. Mark your calendars, May 2nd is Senior Sunday and May 23rd is Confirmation Sunday! I hope that you have a blessed April! MichelleJoin 605 Student Ministries on Social Media!

Children's MinistryFirst Kidz Corner It has been so nice to see more and more faces join us for Sunday and Wednesday evening services! I have many fun activities in the works this month. To begin, we are looking forward to Easter Sunday! Although this year we will not be having our Easter Extravaganza, we will enjoy an egg hunt at 10:00 on Easter Sunday. Make sure to register for the church service as they are filling up quickly! Following Easter Sunday, we will begin piloting a new Children's Worship service during the 9:00 Crossroads service on Sunday, April 11. We will begin in the Crossroads service together for worship. After the praise band finishes singing, children in grades K-3 are invited to go to a Children's Service in the UMAC classroom. You're welcome to walk your child to class. This is optional, families are also welcome to keep their children with them in the Crossroads service if they would like. Children's Church will end when your Crossroads service ends, and you can pick your child up in the classroom. Below is an overview of all we will discuss in Children’s Church this month. Hope you will join us! God bless, Ashton Barnett
